Thanksgiving weekend fun!

Join us once again for for our Halloween themed Thanksgiving weekend at Kearsley Creek Recreation Site!

Bring a pumpkin and your carving tools for pumpkin carving at 1pm on Saturday, followed by a treasure hunt

Trick or treating will be held between 6:30 to 8pm

Decorate your site for a chance to win your camping fees back for the weekend and other great prizes!

Campers registered at Rock Creek and South Sayres group site are welcome to join in the fun!

 

A new campsite located in the beautiful forests near Stave Lake.  Rock Creek offers 49 forest campsites, an ATV staging area and a day-use parking area .  This is a motorized family friendly campsite. This site is not on the lake.

Campers are expected to carry out their own garbage, "Pack it in, Pack it out"

Bring your own "Clean Trip Kit."  A clean trip kit includes hand sanitizer, gloves and toilet paper

Maximum 6 people per single site, 12 people per double site, includes kids and visitors

This is a remote site without services, there is no tap water, cell service, or garbage removal service.  YOU PACK IT IN - YOU PACK IT OUT.  We do not have up to date communications with Rock Creek in regards to whether there is first come first served site availability.

 

This is a CASH ONLY site for first come, first served and has on-site supervision.  All visitors are required to exit the site by 9:30 PM.  Gates are locked at 10:00 PM and will remain closed until 8:00 AM.

Quiet time is 10pm – 8am, no exceptions. Respect the peace and quiet of others at all times during your stay.

Driving Directions

From Highway 7, Mission area

Turn North onto 287 Street, which is west of Mission on Highway 7.  Follow 287 Street which changes into Wilson Street.

Continue on Wilson street, passing the Ruskin Dam, and at the next junction turn right onto Dewdney Trunk Road.  Just before the Stave Falls Dam turn left onto Burma Rd/Florence Lake Forest Service Road, which is a gravel road.

Rock Creek is located about 7.5 km or 10 minutes from where the road changes to gravel.  Travel North 7.5 km up Florence Lake Forest Service Road until you see a sign for Rock Creek on your left.
